Do Not Eat the Cupcake

I saw these great little cupcake gift card holders here and as soon as I did I had to try to make one. Once I got my first one done I started another. I went back out to Michaels and bought a bunch of paper flowers (which were on clearance for $2.99 @ 20-25 per package). I just love these but give yourself plenty of time. I sat down and watched TV while I threaded my Ribbon (you will need lots of ribbon), this is what takes the longest. Well here are my first two, hope you like them and if you make one I would love to see it.
The first one that you see I scored the DSP every 1/2 inch and the bottom I scored at ever 1/4 inch. I think I like the 1/4 inch better, let me know your thoughts.

This one was my first and I will not use striped DSP again.
If the patterns are not the same for both pieces
it doesn't line up and it looks bad.

Have a wonderful day, Candice ;-)

The girls and I love the cupcake idea! I was reminded that there are several birthdays coming up.

Just a thought, gather your ribbon with heavy duty thread by machine(use a long stitch length). I'll help with that if you want!
