Halloween

Wow we had a GREAT time even thought it started off as a rainy day. The party started at 3:00 and thank goodness the rain stayed away until we were done for the evening. We had a good time and what a GREAT group of kids!!!

Here is most of the gang, there were a few missing in this one.

This one was the mummy game, although it was not as easy
as they thought it was going to be.

These three are from the Pumpkin Hockey
we divided the kids into 3 teams.

Tootsie Pop Ghost Hunt and I forgot to tell them how many they could find. So needless to say some of these guys had the mother load of ghosts. But everyone was willing to share, like I said this was a great group of kids...

Oh and can't forget the Pinatas we had two of them one for the
younger group and one for the older group.



Yes we were the only adults that dressed up. Thank goodness for Dawn or she would have been the only one, she told me she had the red one at home so she had Tom run home to get it for me. Check out the look on Dawns face there is a story behind that one, but that will remain between us... it was rather funny.

Ta Da!!

Well here it is, 2 hours and 38 squares. Now that I have made my first one I know what to do and what not to do. I AM NOT A QUILTER, I will need a stabilizer or I will need to double my batting, any thoughts??? Hope you like the bag, it was really easy to do. Thanks for stopping in.

What is this going to become?

I know I know I have not stamped much, but I have been having so much fun with all these other projects that I have been working on. I saw this GREAT (%&#$@) using these pre cut 5" squares from JoAnn's and of course I had to try it. It took 38 squares and about 2 hours. You guys are going to hate this but I will post the finished product tomorrow. Thanks for stopping in, see ya tomorrow.

Off to a Birthday Party

So Sloane is off to a birthday party for one of her little girlfriends and the birthday girl really wanted one of my cupcakes, which is a gift card holder, so here it is I hope she likes it. Although I have to tell you Sloane was a little bummed that yet another one of her girlfriends is getting one of these cute cupcakes and she has not gotten one yet. I think I will have to make her one with a little something in it for the next time she does something nice/good. Thanks for stopping in.

Cute little Necklace Holders

Here are some cute little necklace holders that I made for a craft fair and YES of course I sold all the pink ones. I also made some black and white ones. In the photo below the little hooks have not been put on yet and the cork had not been put into the center. Each of the frames had 3-5 hooks along the bottom. The frames came from Michael's for just $1 each, I think I have about 10 more to put together for the next craft fair. All I did was put some paint on them added ribbon, some flowers, hooks and cork. I will need to make some purple ones next time. Hope you enjoy, thanks for stopping in.

Butterfly fly away...

This is a little something that I have been working on for an upcoming craft fair/girls night out. Man have I been busy doing all of these last minute projects for this event. I will post some picture of this event on Saturday. Anyway aren't these just the cutest pins. Well here is the finished one, I think they turned out pretty cool, I would love to hear what you guys think about them. My daughter has already put dibs on this one, so of course this one is for her. Right now I have made about 4 others for an upcoming craft event, we will see how they do. From Trash to ...

I know my last couple of posts have had nothing to do with my stamping but I just wanted to share some of the things that I have been working on. I am in the process of making some major changes around here, as I start them I will share them with you guys. Thanks for stopping by.

Treasure!!!

I was getting ready to throw this brass lamp away when I got an idea...

I pulled out the black spray paint...

and found this at Big Lots for $10 and then I saw the sign that said 90% off so yes it was $1 and I could not pass this buy, it was a cream color so I again pulled out the black spray paint.

I pulled out the E6000 and TA DA, this is what I ended up with. I am going to add on a cord cover just not sure on the pattern yet. Hope you enjoyed my trash to treasure.

Yummy!!!!

First off I need to say anything with Almonds, I am sure that I will LOVE it!!! And then topped off with a lemon glaze, oh my!!! I saw this Blueberry Almond Coffee Cake recipe over at lifeingrace and just had to try it, you should go on over and check out her Blog. In the photo below I have included her recipe just click on that photo and you will be able to read it, although I had to bake mine for 50 min.

As you can see Sam has his eye on this one.

Another Halloween Project

Here is another area that I got decorated. My kids are loving all the decorations, I will be doing more this weekend so I will have more to post latter. Eric is out with Sam this morning for some Daddy and son time now. With him on travel as much as he has been the kids are really enjoying this one on one time with him. I am glad that he took me up on this one I think it is ending up being good for all three of them. Life just gets to busy and sometimes we need to just take a step back and SLOW down. Just a Little Peek :)

Well Eric gets back this morning after being on travel for the week (again). The kids especially Sloane is really starting to not like her daddy being gone. Eric and Sloane are going to spend some time tonight together, Sam is off to a birthday party so they will spend some daddy daughter time MUCH needed.

Oh this project is just a little bit more work than I thought, but that seems to be the case with most of my projects!!! Well anyway I am almost ready to show you, here are two more patters that I am working with today.

A Work in Progress

Okay I have lots to do before this Halloween Party. I have invited a bunch of my friends over, right now we stand at about 26 adults and 34 children. So needless to say I have lots to do...

Well I started my Halloween decorating today, pulled out a bunch of stuff and of course went shopping. I saw these great birds over at Dollar General, yes I did get them for one buck each, not to bad. And this great vase I got over at Tuesday Mornings for just $3.99. Gotta love it when I can find a great deal. Hope you like this cute little project. I will post more latter.
