Project 1

So here is a project that I have been working on for a couple of the craft fairs that I will be in this November.  Each pack has 5 cards and envelopes.  I have put together 24 packs. UM!! hope they sell if not I will at least have a bunch of hostess and teacher gifts.  Well anyway thanks for stopping in.

Started Yesterday

So I started this project yesterday and I just wanted to share it with you.  It does take some time looks easy but you will need patience.  Yes this is retired designer series paper but the options are endless for this wreath.  I wanted to make this for the next birthday in our house which is on the 20th, Sam is going to be 11 years old.  Well anyway thanks for stopping in hope you like it.  Check back in a bit to see what I added...

Friends Forever

Just another little something that I just made.  This Gorgeous Grunge stamp set is a new favorite.  I have seen some really cute cards using this set.

My mother In-Law is coming back into town this Saturday and she will be here for two weeks I am really hoping that she and I will really be able to straighten up my mess in the basement (Keep Sell and Trash).  She loves to stay busy and believe me we will be down there for a few days, I will have to post some photos, well maybe.  Thanks for stopping in.

Hello Lovely

I know it has been a while since I have posted anything...  Summers really keeps me busy, well kids really keep me busy...  They started school on Wednesday, 7th and 5th, my oh my the time is fling by.  With them at school and now with all this free time...YES I have been stamping.  I am hosting a workshop on Friday so yes getting things ready.  Our basement is even closer to being done I am getting so excited.  Well anyway thanks for stopping in.

Southwest Quinoa Salad

with chips, in a wrap or as a side either way it is yummy and easy to put together.

1 cup quinoa
1 cup frozen corn
1/2 cup diced red pepper (I use yellow and orange)
1/2 cup diced red onion
1/2 cup fresh cilantro (I used a whole bunch)
1 can Rotel drained or (a can of diced tomatoes and a small can of green chilies)
1 can pink beans drained or whatever you prefer

sauce
3/4 cup mayo
2 Tablespoons cider vinegar
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. garlic powder
salt and pepper

Cook quinoa according to package and let cool a bit.  Add frozen corn and next 5 ingredients, toss well.

Combine mayonnaise and remaining ingredients stirring well.  Pour mayo mixture over quinoa toss well and chill.

Last Express Workahop

Oh My Gosh these last 2 weeks have just flown by I can't believe that our Summer Break starts tomorrow at noon.  It has been just a bit busy around here.  I received my order last week and it is lost of good stuff.  So well anyway here are the 3 cards that we made at the last express workshop.

Lemonade

BURST OF SUNSHINE

I saw this technique a bit back and just loved it, Blowing Ink.  I also did this technique at one of my monthly workshops and the girls really liked the look.  This is an easy and fun project.  When I saw this challenge I kinda thought of this card so I linked it to the challenge over at Stampin' Royalty check out link below.  I know it's not the straight lines like in the photo but thought I would submit it.  Well anyway thanks to stopping by and checking it out.

New Catty Show

Time is just going by way to fast I can't believe that the kids only have 9 more days of school but not really the last three are half days.  The beach trip is just 15 days away, can't wait for the sand under my toes and just relaxing with friends and family.

I have been preparing for my new catty show and here are 3 of the projects that the girls will be making.  I also put together these great folder.  In the folder they will get their NEW catty, order form, wish list, sticky tabs, highlighter and a take home make and take.  Well anyway thanks for stopping by.

Upcycle

okay so I do like to take old pieces and make them new again.  I took this piece which was sitting in our basement getting ready to be taken to the dump and I thought of this great idea.  I have been wanting to do something in our dinning room which is just blah and thought this piece could look really cool in there kinda like a little sidebar and make it pop, so I painted it a poppy color.  I have seen a bunch of re-dos on pinterest and so this is what is was and now is.  Oh and by the way this was Eric's dresser when he was a growing up.  I am not done in this space but when it is done I will do an update.  Sill to do Georgia Okeeffe print (poppy), lamps, mirror, rug and a big basket or something on the side of this piece.  Thanks for stopping in.
