Would ya look at that

Well OH MY GOSH!!!  I just say this Color Challenge Over at ColourQ and had to play along.  I actually made my card on the 17th to play along with The Friday Mashup Challenge 80.  I usually do not play along with color challenges, not really sure why, but I find them a bit more difficult for some reason.  I just had to throw this one in especially since the colors are all the same.  So go on over to the ColourQ blog to check out some other cards made with these colors.   Thanks for stopping in.

Faux Metal

NO it's not tin foil or metal sheet it is foil/metal tape, yes it is a tape.  This is what you would use around your dryer vent and you get a bunch of it for cheap.  All you have to do is peel and stick it to a piece of card stock, remember to overlap it just a little you don't want the card stock to peek through.  You might get a few wrinkles but they can be rubbed out pretty easily.  When you emboss it you really can't see the seems and wrinkles unless you really look hard.  I didn't want this card to be so shinny so I took some black acrylic pant and gave it a quick brush over.  See ya tomorrow.

Washi What

Okay I have seen a few things out there with washi tape and this is another one of those things that I love but have not bought yet and now I wont have to "BECAUSE", I will make my own "PLEASE", and it is supper easy to do.  I just used cheap tissue paper and double sided sticky tape.  Some tissue paper out there has a gloss to it, not sure if it matters but I used the  back side which did not have a glossy finish.  The designs could be never ending...  I designed my own by using various stamps and OH by the way we have great colors.  What fun!!!  Thanks for stopping by.
