Westeria Wonder

So I am busy cutting and getting ready for my show this Friday, and what a good day to be doing this.  It is supposed to rain all day and since my kids have gotten on the bus it has not stopped.  I have to head out in this mess to go pick up dinner I am trying a receipt from Pinterest, Garlic Chicken it sounds easy and YUMMY, you can check it out here.  I did read some of the comments and I will add some liquid (broth) to the bottom of the pan, I am also going to cook it at 425 for about 20 min and then broil it for about 5 min.  I will let you know how it turns out.

So here is one of the projects that the girls will be working on this Friday.  Hope you like it and thanks for stopping in.

Project Complete

Oh My Goodness this project took 4 days and a total of nine hours.  If the weather would have been nicer it would not have taken that long.  The poly coats took forever to dry, and they needed two coats.  I guess if Nicole and I didn't make extra large ones it may not have taken as long either, but the girls and I had a good time working together.  I have found out that I like working with the big boy tools, yes I know I need to get some safety glasses and maybe some gloves, I got a few splinters.

What to do

Oh what to do with all that Bakers Twine, which by the way I love...  Okay so the spools were to big once I got the twine wrapped around it so I cut down a couple of straws and that worked perfectly!!!  I got the salt and pepper shakers for .97 cents what a bargain, right.  I have seen some neat ways to store bakers twine on pinterest (awesome place).  One of those cheese shakers is what I was looking for but did not find one in my outing today.  I think this will work just fine for me.  Okay so go store that twine.

Three Little Words

So last week there was a pretty bad accident in front of the house and the car took down the power pole.  Everyone was okay thank goodness.  I didn't have phone or internet service for 5 days they had to restring all the wires, it was quit a mess.  Well anyways onto this card we made it at my Friday night in home workshop.  The girls made 4 different projects.  This other one is those little binder clip post-it-note holders with a pen to match.
