Clean & Simple Butterfly

This is this weeks Clean & Simple Sketch #87. There are some really cute samples, you can check them out here. I used the DSP Stack Sweet Pea in the current mini catalog, which ends this Friday so if you love this paper you need to talk to your demonstrator now to get it ordered. The only thing I stamped on this card is the sentiment, the butterfly was cut right out of the DSP. Hope you like it, thanks for stopping in.

Forget-Me-Not Card Organizer

So Friday night was my first Forget-Me-Not Class. This is a GREAT way to organize all of your cards monthly. Here are a few samples of what the girls made. I brought out my stash of DSP and the girls were able to pick out 3 sheets of their favorite designs to decorate their box. We used the Calendar Background Stamp along with the Full Calendar Stamp Set to make all 12 month dividers. The girls choose coordinating inks, ribbon, and card stock to match their DSP. The results were fabulous!!! For those of you who missed this class watch for information on my next class, coming soon. Thanks for visiting.

Pretty Flower

I saw this flower on YouTube and just had to try it out. So I think this would be beautiful on a gift bag or box (to big for a card). To make this flower all you need is the ornament and 1 3/8 circle punches you need 18 ornaments punched and one circle punch. Sponge all the edges of the ornaments and curl the edges with a pen or pencil. Start on the outside of the circle with 4 petals and work your way into the center.

Update just found the link here.

Nancy Riley does this really neat thing on her blog every week called IPICKS, these are her favorite cards or projects that she finds weekly while she is doing her own surfing. I had a show last Friday and this was one of the cards that we made, if you noticed in this card we used some new colors coming back into our line and a few colors that are leaving us. Just a bit Simple

This card was fast and simple to make, I think it is just lovely, no layers and not much to it. But I have to admit when I saw Kim's card I just had to case it, so stop on over to Kimberly's Blog Stampin by the Sea to see what inspired me to make my card. I love checking out her blog to see her latest and greatest creations, and she has some good ones. Well I hope you like my take on her card, and thanks for stopping in.

After a very very long day (and it is only 5:00) I sat down just to pull myself together and decided that I would make a quick card. I remember seeing this one early in the week and thought that I could put something together and maybe relax a bit, it is amazing what some stamping can do for you.

I just love that Melon Mambo is going to be one of our 40 colors :-), but if you notice the other two colors I used well they are on the way out. So stop on over to the Clean&Simple Blog to see some other great cards using this sketch. Thanks for stopping in.

Spring Birthday

Last day of Spring Break and it went by so fast. The kids and I are going to enjoy the great weather outside today, before they go back to school tomorrow.

I thought this would make for a nice spring birthday card. I love the colors in this page of the DSP Shades of Spring. At my last hostess workshop the hostess wanted to do a scrap book layout but some of the girls were not scrappers, so I designed this card for the girls who did not want to do the layout. Hope you like it and thanks for stopping in.
