Floating Flowers

It's snowing here and it is beautiful... Can't wait to get out in it and play, both of the kids have friends over so it will be a fun filled day.

Here are some floating flowers for you, maybe it will get you thinking of Springtime and warm you up a bit. I used 3/4 of a piece of paper like in the post below with the hearts. I punched a circle through both pieces, slipped in a piece of transparency film and added the stickers. Notice the DSP it is our old style which was not double sided, I still have a bunch of this stuff. Thanks for stopping in and if you are getting snow, stay warm...'-)

Love Bug

Okay I know that I have been bad about posting but here is a little something for you. This little guy is from Love Bug and I also used Vintage Labels from SAB. I colored him in with the watercolor pencils and then added crystal effects.

Essence of Love

What a rainy day, we just got back from the movie The Spy Next Door, good day for a movie...

So all you Stampin' up demos, how do you like the new Stampin' Connection??? I Love that we as demo's have a place to go that is all about Stampin' UP. But I do wish the cards were more organized (like by stamp set). Well anyway I put this together real quick before we went to the movies, I really just pulled out my colors and grabbed the Stamp Set and this is what I came up with, I hope you like it and thanks for stopping in.

Happy Moments

We used this at my last in home show last week and made the card below. This stamp set is one of the sale-a-bration sets found on page 7 Happy Moments, and of course the border and corner punches LOVE THEM!!!! I had a few extra cut so my girlfriend Teri stayed behind and we made up these set of 4 cards all Happy Birthday. Hope you like, thanks for stopping in.

Sweet Pea

This is another project from my Friday night in home workshop, notice that I added a piece of pretty in pink in behind the chocolate chip, I just felt that it needed something else. One of my girls added knots in between the squares and it just looked GREAT (wish I took a picture of hers).

Tonight I am meeting with three other ladies (two of these ladies are in my downline) We are planning a Spring Stamp Camp for March, I am excited because it has been a while since I (we) have planned a BIG event like this. Can't wait to get the ball rolling on this one, so girls watch for the information...

A Little Treat For You!

These cute little treats were made at my Friday Night In Home Workshop. We used the new large Glassine Bags, LOVE THEM!!! I made some large chocolate chip cookies for the girls to put into their bags, and then they made these cute little belly bands and layered a Sweet Pea Stitched Felt Flower on them, which by the way I also LOVE THEM!!! Using My New Stuff

Well here is my first project using my new stuff. I have to be honest at first glance I was not sure I was even going to like them. I gave them a shot and after using them they are not so bad, these guys really do stamp just like the wood mounted stamps. I do have a bit of a problem with them sticking to the case, but when I pull them out to stamp they do the job, and well they will save you money.

I think if you follow the photos below you will get the idea on how to make this cute project... I love this new Glitter DSP, wish we had more of it. Hope you like what I came up with.

First take your 81/2 x 11 piece of paper and score it at 51/2 and 41/4 then cut out the top right hand corner. (you will need to cut a little over the score line of the 41/4 score so you get a nice fold)

Then in the bottom left hand corner use those punches girls.

Using a piece of DSP glue it in behind the punched out area, fold in the bottom right piece in and glue it down making sure that the glue side is covering your DSP. (Be careful not to actually glue your card shut)

There you have it, add in your embellishments and girls don't forget to fancy up those envelopes.

just a little something

This is just a little something that I did way back when, I have not posted any projects lately so I thought since I am about to jump back in I better start putting things out there. December was a nice break really enjoyed the holidays with family and friends. Oh and that snow was a blast, we were out in it a bunch, we were out one night till @9:30 with our friends across the street, we had a huge fire going and the sled riding was awesome!!! I got lots of stuff done around here which I will show you latter on, just adding those finishing touches to my kitchen redo. Well thanks for stopping in.
