Charming - Cased

OMG!!! a while back our dog Ruger had to have surgery on his leg because of a torn ACL, well he did the same thing again to the other leg and his surgery is on Tuesday, poor thing. Oh I just remember how pitiful he was last time, not looked forward to the next few weeks!!!

Okay enough of that and onto some stamp stuff. I just think that this Charming Stamp Set from the mini catalog is quite elegant (page 32). I saw a card that Roxy had done a while back on her blog and just loved it. So I cased it, if you would like to see her card just check out this link here. Hope you like what I came up with and thanks for stopping by.

Halloween Pillow Box

This is going to be a short post, I wanted to get something posted but it had to be quick, this week has been just a little crazy. I have seen a few of these on other blogs and just loved them. It is the Pillow Box and Top Note dies. I folded the Top Note die in half and then sponged it with only orange. I used the cat out of the Batty For You stamp set and mounted it on basic black scallop circle. I will be making these for the kids classes this year for Halloween, I think they will just love them. Well anyway thanks for stopping by.

My mom came down for the day yesterday and we were busy making Christmas gifts for all of the grandchildren. We made covered compo books and matching pens. Most of the paper we used was from Stampin' UP!. All but one. Well anyway I could not throw out the extra, I just loved it, so I made this little card with the left overs. I added a few gems to make it shine and well here it is. Thanks for stopping by.

The boys went to the lake for a bike ride and the girls are just hanging out getting ready to watch a movie. I think Eric needed a break, he has been working on a big project outside for the kids and once it is all done I will show you guys some pictures. Well anyway back to some stampin stuff, I saw this wonderful tutorial done by Andrea Walford one her blog (here). Faux Flock, what fun and the colors are endless.
